If is introduced a bill with destiny to cassette (unrecyclable denomination) and with this
the introduced amount exceeds the available amount in recyclers (bills and coins) the
bill is rejected to avoid the introduced amount can’t be returned in case of cancellation.
If is introduced a recyclable bill or a coin, it always is accepted because its destiny is
the recycler, therefore it always can be returned.
• Change control : When the introduced amount exceeds the sale amount, the
Canceling control stops acting and begins to act the Change control. This control
checks that the change amount to return can be dispensed. If a bill whose amount
represents that the change to dispense is not available in CashDro3 is introduced, it is
rejected to avoid a payment not available.
These controls take into account the different configuration parameters that affect the
calculation of change to dispense. As seen in previous chapters of this manual, we can
define the maximum number of pieces of a denomination to dispense, or the number of the
difference of coins from which we want to apply rounding.
12.6.2.6 Rounding on amounts
CashDro3 can work with two different type of rounding, the legal rounding and the rounding
due to lack of coins. The type of rounding to apply depends on the currency with which works
the equipment. CashDro3 is provided already configured by default the corresponding type
of rounding.
• Legal rounding: It is applied in countries where all existing coins are accepted by
CashDro3 but it is necessary to rounding to smallest denomination because it is
bigger than 1 cent.
This type of rounding acts always by approximation. In case of an amount is exactly in
the middle between the rounded amount by above and by below, we can define to
which direction we want the rounding.
• Rounding due to lack of coins: This type of rounding is applied in countries where
exists any denomination not accepted by CashDro3.
For this type of rounding we can define he following parameters:
• Rounding in favor of Client or Company (equipment)
• Show original or rounded amount
