2. Enter your banner text (up to 18 characters) then
press the Center Select Key c [OK].

1. From standby mode press the Center Select
Key c [MENU], then press the Directional Key
r right twice for SETTINGS & TOOLS, 5
Display Settings, 1 Banner, 2 ERI
Banner.
2. Press the Directional Key j up or down to
select On/Off, then press the Center Select Key
c [OK].
Backlight
To set the duration for backlight illumination for the
Main Screen and Keypad:
1. From standby mode press the Center Select
Key c [MENU], then press the Directional Key
r right twice for SETTINGS & TOOLS, 5
Display Settings, 2 Backlight.
2. Press 1 Display or 2 Keypad.
3. Press the Directional Key j up or down to
select one of the following settings, then press
the Center Select Key c [OK].
7 seconds/15 seconds/30 seconds/Always
On/Always Off
