TARING BALANCE

8. Wait for the instrument to tare the balance.

Start Weight

SAMPLE ID: XXXX

Place empty crucible on

balance pan and press NEXT

Press BACK to Retare

9. Place the empty crucible on the balance pan. Press the NEXT key.

Note: Press the BACK key to retare the balance.

READING BALANCE

Note: Press the BACK key to reweigh the sample.

11. Place the sample in the crucible. Press the NEXT key.

10. Wait for the instrument to measure the weight of the crucible.

Note: If using “Standard” balance measurement, proceed with step 11. If using

“Syringe” measurement, proceed to step 32.

Start Weight

SAMPLE ID: XXXX

CRUCIBLE WT: XXXX.X

Add sample to crucible

and press NEXT

Press BACK key to Reweigh
