During operation, arrange cables in a serpentine pattern as shown in
Figure 4-1 on page 32. Do not coil the cables, as it could cause the
machine to malfunction.

• Check the tool condition and sharpness.
• Check all hand tools are removed from inside the machine and the
work area.
Leaving the workspace with the machine running and unattended may
cause personnel injury and machine or workpiece damage.
For optimal results, please run machine unloaded for 20 minutes before
cutting operation. Thermal expansion of the components may result in
changes to machined features if machining is initiated from a cold start.
4.1.1 Electric checks
Check electrical parts for damage. Repair or replace any damaged parts.
Check that the motor control trigger is in the off position.
Plug the machine into a properly grounded outlet.
