11-8 Device Status and Troubleshooting
The transfer of studies
from PACS to Virtua is
slow.
Some PACS store studies at a low
priority, which causes slow transfer
times.
Try sending studies directly from a
modality workstation instead of PACS.
Try using Query/Retrieve from Virtua.
Some PACS will transfer faster when
the study is requested using
Query/Retrieve.
Contact the PACS vendor and ask if
there is a way to increase the
performance of DICOM store requests.
Jobs are being recorded
on an unexpected media
type.
The Job Profile’s media type is set to
Auto, so the device is selecting the
media type based on the size of the job.
Set the media type to CD or DVD,
depending on which type the job should
be recorded. To change the default
setting in the Job Profile, refer to
“Setting Up Job Profiles” on page 3-25.
To override the Job Profile setting for a
particular job, refer to “Manual Mode”
on page 5-4.
Jobs that were previously
recorded are not being
displayed in the Discs
queue.
The Discs queue filter needs to be
changed.
The Discs queue might not be sorted
properly.
Set the Discs queue filter to the
appropriate setting (Pending,
Recorded, or All).
Verify that the desired column is
selected on the Discs screen.
Jobs repeatedly fail with
rejected CDs.
CDs are loaded into an input bin that is
assigned to DVDs.
Make sure that the correct media type is
loaded in each bin, as specified by the
bin’s assigned media type. To
determine the current bin media type
assignments, refer to the Media
indicators in the Dashboard.
The job results in an error. The job is queued for a media type that
is not assigned to either of the input
bins.
Make sure that at least one of the input
bins is assigned the media type that is
specified in the job. Refer to “Setting Up
the System Profile” on page 3-16.
