13.6 Lower Covers
13.6.1 Safety Precautions
 Ensure that the power and USB cables are completely disconnected from the scanner unit.
 Ensure the scanner is positioned on a stable maintenance platform.
13.6.2 Tools
 Small Flat screwdriver.
13.6.3 Associated Part Numbers

13.6.4 Important Information
 For all photos, please refer to chapter “7 Photos Information” on page 9.
13.6.5 Procedure
1. To remove the Lower Covers,
open the Lid Assembly by
depressing the Lid Latches at
either end.
2. At the left most Lower Covers
insert a small flat screwdriver
into a locking access hole.
NOTE: The method is the same for both front
and rear sets.
