14 Removing and Replacing Components
14.1 Main Board
14.1.1 Safety Precautions
 Ensure that the power and USB cables are completely disconnected from the scanner unit.
 Ensure the scanner is positioned on a stable maintenance platform.
14.1.2 Tools
 Small Pozi-drive screwdriver.
14.1.3 Associated Part Numbers
 10H005 : Main Board
 10H035 : M40 Cover Main Board
 10H087 : M25 Cover Main Board
14.1.4 Important Information
 For all photos, please refer to chapter “7 Photos Information” on page 9.
 Before removing the Main Board, following the instructions to retrieve the Motor Speed using
the Motor Speed area on page 122.
14.1.5 Procedure
1. Remove the Top Lid Cover
as described in chapter “13.4
Top Lid Cover” page 24.
2. Close the Lid Assembly back
down.
