Compaq Portable II - Disconnecting the VDU Power Cable; Returning the Computer to Flat Position on the Work Surface

To remove the video display unit (VDU), complete the following steps:
1. Remove the keyboard assembly (see Section 7.4).
2. Disconnect the VDU power cable (Figure 7-63).
3. Lower the computer so that it appears as illustrated Figure 7-64.
