125 kW PCS cabinet: One 125 kW PCS is comprised
of two 62.5 kW energy storage inverters.
250 kW PCS cabinet: Two 125 kW PCS modules, each
comprised of two 62.5 kW energy storage inverters.
E Thermal dissipation duct
Air ducts for forced air cooling of the energy storage PCS inverters.
F DC HV busbar
Copper busbars for the positive and negative cables from the battery pack HV
box. The thinner DC HV busbars are on the two sides of the AC busbar.
G AC busbar
Copper busbar for the AC connections. The larger AC busbars
are in the center between the two DC HV busbars.
H DC busbar surge protector
The surge protector of the DC bus; there are two
shown in the image, one for each 125 kW PCS module.
J AC busbar surge protector
Surge protector of the AC bus; one surge protector for combined
PCS AC output if there are two 125 kW PCS modules installed.
K Fuse
Protection for the main AC surge protection device.
L Auxiliary transformer
The 8.3 kVA transformer delivers power to the liquid-cooling unit,
BMS, PCS cabinet fans, and networking equipment.
M UPS
The 1500 VA UPS provides backup power for the PCS
communication circuit and networking equipment.
N FlexOM gateway
Remotely accessible for updating PCS firmware.
P Local controller
Communicates with the third-party EMS.
R Network switch
Internal component for communicating with the PCS,
local controller, and Ethernet module on the BMS.
