5 Electrical Connection
WARNING:
The utility grid voltage and frequency must be within the PCS inverter electrical specifications.
Installation of the ESS must be completed by qualified personnel ONLY.
The installation must comply with all local electrical codes and standards.
NOTICE:
The ESS installation plan must be compliant with all relevant standards and requirements.
Failure to follow the instructions in this manual or violation of relevant standards, regulations, or
requirements can result in voiding the product warranty and/or damage to the equipment and other
property.
The following safety procedures must be followed when installing the electrical wiring for this ESS:
Make sure all energy sources and all external equipment are disconnected before opening the equipment.
Ensure that hazardous high voltage and energy inside the equipment has been discharged.
Ensure it is not possible for the electrical connections to be re-energized while performing installation.
Use a multimeter to check and confirm that the equipment and interior components are completely powered off.
Verify appropriate grounding and check for short-circuit conditions.
Always wear appropriate PPE capable of withstanding potential high voltage shock.
