7. Based on the information above, route the JX3 and JXH1 cable(s) through the conduit and plug them into the
corresponding DC block connector ports. (These two cables have white labels on their black insulation housing.)
8. Route the ground cable(s) through the conduit between the DC block and PCS cabinet. For external ground rod
installation and connection, see Section 5.4 Grounding Connection.
9. Insert the short JX2 cable(s) into the HV control box’s JX2 connector.
NOTE: This connector has multiple terminal resistors that must keep each digital bus impedance at 120 ohm.

AC output wiring:
Copper wire must be UL1284 certified bare copper wire with PVC insulation.
The wire temperature rating must be 221°F (105°C).
Lugs must be crimped using a hydraulic cable lug crimper with 3/0 AWG and 1 AWG die set.
Communication wiring: Use CAT5e or CAT6 cables for the communication cable from the network switch inside the PCS
cabinet and the external EMS controller.
