2.10 Fire Suppression System

Smoke detector
Detects smoke using a light source and a photo
sensitive sensor; when smoke particles enter the
light path, some of the light is scattered by
reflection and refraction onto the sensor.
Heat detector
Detects fire by using heat sensitive elements.
Aerosol
Suppresses fire: aerosol is mainly composed of
inert gas and ultra-fine potassium salt particles,
which can quickly consume OH, H, and O radicals
to prevent the combustion chain reaction from
proceeding.
