3.1.3 Transportation Process and Requirements
During transportation, avoid external mechanical impact. During loading and unloading, handle the product with care and do
NOT throw, roll, or apply heavy pressure to the product.
Battery rack transportation requirements for land transport:
The transportation plan for bulky cargo must be evaluated in advance.
The driving speed of the transporting vehicle must not exceed 62 mph (100 kph) and the domestic legal requirement.
During the driving process, do not make sudden stops or sharp turns.
Keep the vehicle in good condition:
o Check the operating status of the vehicle’s lifting and carrying equipment frequently.
o Find and solve problems in a timely manner.
Battery rack transportation requirements for sea cargo:
Keep the vehicle in good condition.
Check the operating status of the vehicle’s lifting and carrying equipment frequently.
Find and solve problems in a timely manner.
General battery rack transport requirements:
To maximize battery performance, the transport and storage of the battery rack must meet the following requirements:
Allowable transport temperature: -22°F to 140°F (-30°C to 60°C)
Allowable humidity: 95% (non-condensing)
Take appropriate protection measures to keep the SOC at approximately 30%.
Ensure that no short circuit occurs.
Ensure that no liquid is allowed into the battery rack.
