Fault Description and Solution
PROTECTION
GridF.OutLim
Definition: Grid voltage frequency is abnormal or power grid is
not detected.
Possible causes:
Grid frequency is abnormal.
Cable connection between the inverter and the grid is poor.
Recommended solutions:
1. Observe for 10 minutes to see whether the alarm will be
eliminated automatically.
2. Check whether the grid frequency is within the specified range.
3. Check whether the cable between the inverter and the power
grid is disconnected or has any fault.
4. If the fault persists, contact CPS Customer Service.
BatteryVoltOver
Definition: Battery voltage exceeds specified value.
Possible causes: Battery over-voltage.
Recommended solutions:
1. Observe for 30 minutes to see whether the alarm will be
eliminated automatically.
2. Check whether the battery voltage exceeds the specified
range.
3. Turn OFF the battery input switch, wait for five (5) minutes,
then turn the switch ON again.
4. If the fault persists, contact CPS Customer Service.
GFCI.Err
Definition: System leakage current is too high.
Possible causes:
Excessive parasitic capacitance on battery module due to
environmental factor(s).
Grounding is abnormal.
Internal inverter fault.
Recommended solutions:
1. Observe for 10 minutes to see whether the alarm will be
eliminated automatically.
2. Check whether the electrical connection is abnormal.
3. If the fault persists, contact CPS Customer Service.
