Group/Ungroup images and layers
The layers of images inserted from the CricutDesign Space™ Image Library are grouped together. This
means the image layers will move and resize together unless you ungroup them.
Tip: When images are grouped, it is only for convenience when working on the project.
Groups will not change how the image appears on the cutting mats.
Characteristics of image groups
Ungrouping images
Image groups move and resize together
Images can be moved using the mouse or the keyboard arrow keys
Each layer of the image group appears in the Layers panel and is highlighted when selected
Whether images are grouped or ungrouped, image colors can be changed in the Layers panel
Whether images are grouped or ungrouped, image line type (cut, write, score) can be changed from
the Layers panel
Layers of grouped or ungrouped image scan be hidden using the eye icon in the Layers panel
Step 1 Select the image you would like to ungroup. (For more information on selecting images, see
section 7A “Working with images/Edit panel.”) At the bottom of the Layers panel, click “Ungroup.
