b) Check the clone logic volume (clone LV) and then click Save button.
c) Click and then select Start clone, system begins cloning logic volume.
You can termiane the clone operation if it is in process. Or you can delete it after the clone
operation.
3.4.4.6 Remote backup
Note
The dual-controller host does not support this function.
The remote backup means you can create the backup LV on the remote device, and then use
iSCSI to map it to your local storage device. Then you can use the mapped device as the clone
backup LV. Use the clone operation, you can add the extra backup data to the remote device.
Before the clone operation please make sure:
There is backup logic volume. Its space is the same as current logic volume.
You have set snapshot space on current logic volume. Please refer to chapter 3.5.3 for
detailed information.
The remote device has iSCSI share and the space is the same.
a) Click amd then select set remote backup, you can see the following interface. See
Figure 3-33.
