Removal and Replacement

4.5 Platen Block

Removal:

1. Turn OFF and unplug the printer.

2. Remove the Cover and Platen; see Section 4.1 & 4.4

3. Remove the three Screws securing the Platen Block to the Centerplate. Slide the Platen Block out of the

printer.

Replacement:

1. Position the Platen Block in the printer against the Centerplate.

2. Install the three Screws to secure the Platen Block to the Centerplate.

3. Install the Platen and Cover; see Section 4.4 & 4.1.
