3.4 Sail plan
As a sailing boat for families and regatta crews the boat is equipped with the following sails:
Mainsail 44.0 m

Genua 140 % 49.0 m

Jib 100 % 347 m

Spinnaker approx.115.0 m²
Gennaker 93.0 m²
The canvas quality was
chosen for the wind strain
corresponding to the sails.
The mainsail can be
reduced by two one-line
quick reefings to 35.9 m
2
(Reefing 1) and to 26.5 m
2
(reefing 2).
Optional
Mast and deck fittings are
available to set spinnaker
and other windsails.

With these data every sailmaker can make the sail you wish.
3.4.2 Masting plan
The mast is placed in a mast rail under the deck:
Mast length: 18.44 m
Boom length 5.60 m
Length sailing arms from top to bottom 67.0 cm, 101.1cm and 117.6 cm
The profile measures for the SPARCRAFT rigging are higher than the necessary minimum
moment of inertia and moment of resistance, which have to be maintained when the rigging
is eventually replaced. Mast profile F 810 Dimensions 121 x 190 mm.
Main boom profile F 460 Dimensions 116 x 215 mm.
