4.6 On-board direct current system
The 12 V direct current system is in charge of the power supply for all consumers. The main
switches next to the port companion way interrupt the 12 V – consumers – power circuit and
the second main switch interrupts the starter battery. The 12 V power supply comprises the
following main components/power supply sources.
Starter battery
Consumer battery
Engine generator
Charge device
4.6.1 Setup of main fuses
You’ll find the fuses for the different consumers behind the companion way flap door – above
the engine room. According to the boat’s equipment you will find up to seven fuses.

3 = Electric starboard main sheet winch 4 = Anchor winch
5 = General consumers 6 = Electric port side main sheet winch
7 = Electric port side genua winch
Further distribution to the „general consumers“ is done via the power circuit distributor,
(switch board) above the starboard chart table.
4.6.2 Additional fuses
Apart from the fuses on the switch boards and next to the companion way, three more „flying“
sensitive fuses are installed. A 3.25 A sensitive fuse at a time in the checking cable of the indicator for
the consumer batteries. An additionall „slow“ 3.15 A sensitive fuse protects the cable for the engine
room ventilation.
