4.2 Fresh water, drinking water, cold
The Dehler 39 has a polyurethane water tank, with a capacity of about 230 l, installed under
the port cabin berth. On port side in the middle of the coaming guard rods you will find the
filling snout. An electric pressure water pump with a pressure balancing deposit supplies the
sink and the wash-basin in the toilet.
4.2.1 Cockpit shower( optional )
The fresh water tank also supplies the cockpit shower. The unit is installed under the
helmsman’s seat against the cockpit’s port side wall.
4.2.2 Shower in the shower room

The shower spray head is at the
same time the tap for the wash-
basin. The installation is completed by
a filter and a suction pump with a
separate outlet valve. Both parts
are installed in the closet under the
wash-basin.

HINT
The tank is equipped with a checking cover for cleaning. The joint should be saturated with
Vaseline. The checking cover should be firmly tightened.
