Enable RCI over Serial (DSR): This choiceallowsconfigure the Digi Connect device through
the serial port using the RCI protocol. See the RCI specification in the Digi Connect Integration
Kit for further details.
RCI over Serial usesthe DSR(Data Set Ready) serial signal. Verify that the serial port isnot
configured for autoconnect, modem emulation, or any other application which is dependent
on DSRstate changes.

Enable alternate pinout (altpin): Enables or disablesthe altpin option, which swapsDCD
with DSRso that you can use eight-wire RJ-45 cableswith modems. By default, the altpin is
disabled.
TCP Settings
TheseTCPSettings are available only when you configure the current port with the Console
Management, Custom, or TCPSocketsprofile.

Send Socket ID: Include an optional identifier string with the data sent over the network.
TheSocket IDcan be 1 to 256 ASCII characters. Enter non-printable characters as
