ranges that can be configured (shared between source and
destination ports). TCP and UDP protocols each have eight
port ranges.
Select the type of protocol for a match. Only available
when protocol is TCP or UDP.
•
Any: All source ports are acceptable.
•
Single: Enter a single TCP/UDP source port to which
packets are matched.
•
Range: Select a range of TCP/UDP source ports to which
the packet is matched. There are eight different port
ranges that can be configured (shared between source and
destination ports). TCP and UDP protocols each have eight
port ranges.
Select one or more TCP flags with which to filter packets.
Filtered packets are either forwarded or dropped. Filtering
packets by TCP flags increases packet control, which
increases network security. Only available when protocol is
TCP.
Select the type of service for a match.
•
Any: All types of service are acceptable.
•
DSCP to match: Enter a Differentiated Serves Code Point
(DSCP) to match.
•
IP Precedence to match: Enter a IP Precedence to match.
Either select the message type by name or enter the
message type number. Only available when protocol is
ICMP.
•
Any: All message types are acceptable.
•
Select from list: Select message type by name.
•
Protocol ID to match: Enter the number of message type.
