Remove the
turbine
housing iockplates and clamp plates.
Remove the bearing housing.
Remove the
turbine
shaft and heat shield.
Inspect the
turbine
blades and the shaft for
excessive
wear.
Remove and
discard
the piston ring
type
seal.
Caution: Hie wheel and shaft assembly Is balanced as a ^\
unit.
If the
turbine
blades or shaft are damaged, the • V
complete assembly must be replaced.
