Replace the solenoid, o-ring, spring and plunger.
Tighten the solenoid.
Torque Value: 43 N-m [32 ft-lbs]
Connect the electric wire.
Injection Pump - Replacement
Preparatory Steps:
- Remove the throttle linkage and bracket.
• Disconnect the fuel drain manifold.
• Remove the injection pump supply line.
- Remove the high pressure lines.
Disconnect the electrical wire to the fuel shut off valve.
Remove the fuel air control tube.
Remove the fuel pump vent line and capscrew.
Removing the Pump
Caution: Do not remove the control lever. The Bosch VE
lever is indexed to the shaft during pump calibration.
