the Cooling System

To
clean
the
cooling
system,
back
flush
the radiator
and
engine
with
clean
water.
Remove
both radiator
hoses
from
the engine. Attach the water
supply
to the lower radiator connection and back flush the
radiator.
If the radiator
shows
mineral build-up,
scale,
rust or oil, use a
heavy
duty radiator cleaner and follow the manufacturer's
directions.
|) Remove the top heater
hose.
Attach the water supply to the
heater line and
back
flush
the engine.
if the radiator
shows

heavy
duty radiator cleaner and follow the manufacturer's
directions.

During filling, air must be vented

the engine coolant
passages.

through the "jiggle
pin"
openings
in the
thermostat out the top radiator
hose
and
fill
opening.

system

a maximum
fill
rate of 14 liters/minute [3.5 U.S.
gallons/minute].
Do not
exceed
this
fill
rate.
