Problem solving
Warning Green Operational LED is
lit.
Red Delivery Low LED
flashes.
Underdosing
Setting for concentration
and/or fresh-gas flow too
high (only for fresh gas flow
>6 L/min).
Correct the setting, see "In-
fluence of flow", page 110.
If the red Delivery Low
LED continues to flash: Ob-
serve the anesthetic gas
measurements on the mon-
itor. Set control dial to the
0 position. Disconnect the
mains power supply. Re-
move the vaporizer from
the anesthesia workstation
if possible.
Repair by specialized ser-
vice personnel.
Equipment fault Observe the anesthetic gas
measurements on the mon-
itor.
The tank is empty. Refill with anesthetic agent,
observe warm-up time if
necessary.
Caution Green Operational LED
flashes.
Yellow Battery LED flash-
es.
Mains power failure Battery operation, vaporiz-
er continues to dose, see
"Operation during mains
power failure (battery oper-
ation)", page 65.
Prepare for change of an-
esthetic agent.
Note Start and end of self-test
are indicated by a short
tone. All LEDs must light
during the self-test.
If one or more LEDs do not
light, there is a device fault.
Do not operate the vaporiz-
er!
Repair by specialized ser-
vice personnel.
Note Green Operational LED is
lit.
Warm-up ended. The va-
porizer is ready for use.

Note When the control dial is
moved from position 0 to a
position >2, a short tone
must sound if the vaporizer
is warmed up.
If this short tone does not
sound, the acoustic trans-
ducer is defective.
