Composite components, structural
components designed for high-temperature
applications (e.g. swinging arm), are by their very
nature subject to matrix colour changes due to time,
exposure to atmospheric agents and/or heat
sources. Such components can therefore change
their colouring and/or general appearance over time
and such changes are not an indication of non-
conformity or degradation of the material and/or
product and/or component, nor can such a change
be considered an aesthetic defect (being a peculiar
characteristic of the material), nor a structural defect
(as in no way it compromises the functionality of the
component).
