The water tightness of the USB socket
is ensured for cables up to 3.6 mm
(0.14 in) in diameter.
The use of cables with a larger diameter, such as
those of 4.44 mm (0.17 in) supplied by some
companies, prevents the from being
properly closed, causing water ingress.
Although the USB socket is
equipped with a sealing strip, it is not hermetically
sealed.
When not in use, ALWAYS keep the protection
lid for USB socket connection closed.
The USB is for charging only.
When the engine is and key set to ON, do
not leave accessories connected to the USB socket
for a long period of time as the motorcycle
could run flat.
