4. Waiting Mode
In the waiting mode, the machine stops feeding paper only and stands by.
The machine enters the waiting mode in the following cases:
The lamp starts blinking in green during the waiting mode.
When the waiting mode is kept for three minutes, the machine stops completely.
1. When double-feed or miss feed occurs
To restart, press the key after removing the cause of double-feed or miss feed.
• The machine does not enter the waiting mode during right side ejection.
• When paper feed will start again depends on the setting of the number of sets standing by after
paper feed error.
2. When finishing the specified number of sets
To restart with the same number of sets, press the key.
• When the COUNTER REPEAT is set to OFF, the machine does not enter the waiting mode even when
it nishes collating the specied number of sets.
• When the COUNTER REPEAT is set to ON, the machine does not enter the waiting mode if paper
runs out at completion of the number of sets to be processed entered, and stops operating.
3. When pressing the key in the middle of collating
Paper feed can be stopped individually.
Press the
key to restart feeding paper.
In the waiting mode, touching the in the MAIN menu enables the strength of the pickup air and
separating air.
If the error screen of the double-feed or miss-feed is displayed, touch the
key once to display the
MAIN menu, and set the strength of the pickup air and separating air.
