5-5. Auto Backlight Off Setting
This function turns o the lighting of the touch panel if operations are not performed for a certain time.
It can be used to turn ON/OFF the panel backlight as well as the time to maintain the touch panel in the o
state.
At shipment, this is set to “1”.
Auto backlight OFF : “ON”
Auto backlight OFF timer : “5”
If towers are connected, set for each tower individually.
• When the backlight is OFF, the two DSC-10/20s cannot be operated.
To resume operations, touch the touch panel to clear the backlight off state.
• When two DSC-10/20s are connected, if one of the towers's backlight is OFF, the other tower
will also be disabled. Touch the button shown in the figure to turn ON/OFF the backlight
setting as desired.

Select the SETTINGS menu.

The SETTINGS 2 Menu appears.

Set using .
If using the auto backlight OFF function, set to
ON. If not using, set to OFF.
ON: Key is displayed in orange
OFF: Key is displayed in gray

Touch .

Enter the desired time.
(Setting Range: 1 to 999 (minutes))
Touch C to clear incorrect entries.
