To set the loop stroke position:
1. Lock the machine in place at position 1 ( p. 16).
2. Position the upper stitch length adjusting wheel to 0.
3. Loosen the threaded pins (1).
4. Turn the hook such that the hook tip (2) points exactly to the vertical
center line of the groove (3).
5. Tighten the threaded pins (1).
6. Remove the lock.

Then check the following settings:
• Timing of cutting by the thread cutter ( p. 65)
(1) - Threaded pins
(2) - Hook tip
(3) - Needle groove
