3. Emergency stop
There is a brake in each drum motor that acts as an
emergency brake during operation.
To brake in an emergency situation, push in the
emergency stop (3), hold the steering wheel firmly
and be prepared for a sudden stop. The diesel
engine stops.

After braking, return the forward/reverse lever to the
neutral position and pull out the emergency stop.
Restart the engine.

31. Parking brake
Turn the engine speed control (2) back to idling. Allow
the engine to idle for a few minutes to cool.
Activate the parking brake (31).
Check instruments and warning lamps to see if any
faults are indicated. Switch off all lights and other
electrical functions.
Turn the starter switch (1) to the left to the switched off
position. At the end of the shift, fold over the
instrument cover (9) and lock.
