Chapter 9 WARRANTY
Commitment of Eaton: Eaton provides 24 months of warranty starting from the date of startup of the equipment (which shall
be performed by Eaton or the engineer authorized by Eaton within 3 months after delivery), or subject to the agreement.
Warranty shall be subject to the startup report or the valid warranty certicate stipulated in the contract.
Warranty shall be subject to the equipment serial number.
If repair is not covered in the warranty scope, the shipping cost of spare parts shall be included in the repair quotation. If any
fault occurs in the equipment, please call at Eaton’s service hotline for repair.
As Eaton’s customer, you will enjoy the following services:

Eaton provides door-to-door maintenance service within the warranty period of the UPS.
Eaton’s commitments to standard maintenance service are not applicable to the following circumstances
Non-Eaton products and components.
Beyond the warranty period.
Damage to or fault of Eaton’s standard components caused by using non-standard extension parts not recognized by
Eaton (subject to the packing list in the user manual delivered together with the equipment) or peripheral devices.
The equipment serial number has been changed or lost.
Damage caused by the user’s failure to install, use, maintain and store in accordance with the requirements of the
manual.
Fault caused by failure to comply with the power supply conditions specied in the UPS electrical specications or use
in the eld environment.
Fault and damage caused by transportation, movement, careless mistakes, etc. by users after purchase.
Installation, commission, disassembly, repair, alteration or adding other ttings to the UPS without Eaton’s permission.
Damage caused by natural disasters (such as earthquakes, res, oods, etc.) or man-made disasters (such as wars,
acts of violence, etc.).
Fault or damage caused by other non-product factors (including product components).
