in function. When the UPS system is operating in normal mode, only the “Normal” indicator
lamp is lit. If any other indicator lamp is on, it means that an alarm or event has occurred.
When an alarm is given, check these indicator lamps rst to identify what type of event has
occurred. For the details of the status indicator lamps, please see Section
6.2.1
“Status
indicator lamps”.
6.2.3. Use of touch screen
The LCD on the control panel provides an operating interface for the UPS system. In
Figure 6-2
,
the display areas are indicated. Those areas will be discussed in the following sections.

A. In the UPS status area, the model of the Eaton equipment, current date, time, and active
log information are displayed.
B. The area for the energy ow diagram also shows information about the energy ow
diagram of the UPS and the operation.
C. Upon a click on the menu, you can enter the menu interface to check for more UPS
information.
D. The Meters data area displays the current operating mode of the UPS, total kVA and kW,
and their respective percentages. Click this area to view the detailed three-phase data.

Upon a click on the “ ” at the lower part of the Home page, the menu interface will appear, as
shown in
Figure 6-3
. Shown in
Table 6-2
is the basic structure of the menu.
