In order
to
connect a PKE motor-protective circuit-breaker with a PKE32-COM
communication cable, the following additional installation steps for the
DS7-SWD soft starter are required on top of the standard installation
procedure (￫ figures 55 and 56):
▶ Remove the empty module on the PKE basic device.
▶ Connect the PKE32-COM communication cable to the PKE basic device.
▶ Install the PKE trip block for motor protection:
PKE-XTUWA-32 or PKE-XTUA-…

PKE trip block PKE-XTUCP-… for system protection must not be
used in combination with a soft starter DS7!
