10.5 X-ray system cleaning
10.5.1 X-ray system Exterior Cleaning
■ X-ray system exterior cleaning is done by the X-ray system user.
■ Use a dry cloth to clean the exterior of the X-ray system.
■ Do not use chemicals when cleaning the exterior of the X-ray system.
■ If there is moisture on the exterior of the X-ray system, remove the water immediately with a dry
cloth.
■ When cleaning the exterior of the X-ray system, care must be taken not to scratch the X-ray system.
10.5.2 X-ray system Interior Cleaning
■ X-ray system exterior cleaning is done by Service Engineer.
■ To clean the inside of the X-ray system, be sure to turn off the power before cleaning.
■ Do not use cloths or chemicals when cleaning inside of the X-ray system.
10.6 Checklists and Check methods
10.6.1 Wire Check
■ Check periodically at your own (user) risk.
■ Tube Stand, Wall Bucky Stand, Ceiling, etc. Check the connection, fixing state, and wire condition.
■ Check the appearance of the wires.
10.6.2 Cable Check
■ Check cables by Service Engineer.
■ Check whether the connection and fixing status of various cables are normal.
■ Check the appearance of the cables.
10.6.3 Console and Handle Bar Check
■ Check the Console and Handle Bar by Service Engineer.
■ Check the wiring and operation status of the console Hand Switch.
■ Adjust the X-ray exposure conditions on the console and check the operation status.
■ After setting the X-ray irradiation condition to overload condition, check the display such as Overload,
Error message or warning.
■ Confirm that X-ray is normally generated according to the X-ray irradiation condition set in the
console.
■ Check the switch operation on the console.
■ Check that the signal is normal with PC, DAP, AEC, DR SW connected to the console.
10.6.4 HVT(High voltage transformer) Check
■ Check HVT by Service Engineer.
■ Check for water marks around the HVT.
■ Check wiring condition and ground wire fixing status on HVT.
■ Check for signs of oil leaks on the HVT.
■ If any signs of oil leaks are found on the HVT, check the tank for cracks, etc. and check the oil level.
(Normal: oil level within 15 mm of the upper surface of the HVT)
■ If any signs of oil leaks are found on the HVT, clean it with a dry cloth.
■ Check the tightness of the bushing and receptacle of the HVT high-voltage cable.
■ Remove the high voltage cable from the HVT and check the high voltage cable bushing condition. If
the bushing is bad, wipe the bushing with a dry cloth and apply silicone oil to the receptacle.
10.6.5 Generator Check
■ Check the generator by Service Engineer.
■ Check for signs of moisture around the generator.
