Safety precauons

ollow all regulaons regarding the use of radio equipment, in parcular the possibility
of radio frequency (RF) interference. Follow the safety instrucons given below carefully:
▪ Do not use radio equipment in fuel depots, chemical plants or other explosive
environments.
▪ Do not operate GENIUS BOX close to inadequately protected personal medical
devices such as hearing aids and pacemakers. Consult the manufacturers of the
medical device to determine if it is adequately protected.
▪ Do not operate GENIUS BOX close to other electronic equipment which may also
cause interference if the equipment is inadequately protected. Observe warning
signs and manufacturer recommendaons. The operator must maintain a distance
of at least 20 cm (8 inches) during GENIUS BOX operaon.
▪ Do not operate the GENIUS BOX in areas where the use of cellular modems are not
advisable without proper device cercaons. These areas include environments
where cellular radio can interfere, such as explosive atmospheres, medical
equipment or any other equipment which may be suscepble to any form of radio
interference. The modem can transmit signals that could interfere with this
equipment.
