If the light from the filament is not visible, then remove the cover from the generator
section, in order to see the tube.

3.4.7.3 If the filament of the generator tube doesn’t glow
Check the voltage of the filament, on the transformer, there should be 10 V AC on
the secondary. If not, then measure 220 V AC on the primary, leads 2-3.
NOTICE
Set the power switch to pos. 1 before removing the tube, although it would be best
to completely turn off the device and unplug the power cord.
