11.3.4 Error-Logfile
The Biometra TRIO Thermal Cycler records all errors by time and date. The latest error is
shown in position in the Error Log table. Additionally the error code and error message
are listed.

11.4 Extended Self-Test
NOTICE
The Extended Self
-
Test must be performed under the following conditions to achieve re-
producible and meaningful results:
Ambient temperature in the range 20 °C to 25 °C
Mains voltage depending on the voltage type of the device: 100 V/115 V/230,
±10 % each
The device must be cooled to the ambient temperature of 20 °C to 25
°C after the last
application.
During the Extended Self-Test the Biometra TRIO Thermal Cycler checks several func-
tions and components:
Test Function
Cooler Incubates the sample block to 4°C and checks, if the sample block reaches
4°C and if the low temperature is hold for a longer time.
Thermal track-
ing
Checks the synchronism of the control circuits and if they work coordi-
nated together.
