Pipe installaon must be carried out in accordance with
current local and federal regulaons.
The unit is not equipped with external shut o valves on
the load side; these must be installed to facilitate any
future servicing.
The unit should be vented through the venng valve. This
is located on the load outlet leaving the unit and would be
used to bleed o excess air within the water lines. See the
illustraon.
Be sure to use both of the supplied corrugated stainless
steel ex tubing, aaching them directly to the inlet and
outlet on the outdoor unit. These exible tubes act as
vibraon dampers. Be sure to t them so that an elbow is
created on both lines.
When assembling the ex tubes to the unit be certain to
use a two wrench system of ghtening. One wrench used
to back up the staonary copper ng ,the other to turn
the corresponding end of the ex tube. Tighten by moving
the wrench on the ex tube.
All of the outdoor tubing must be fully insulated. 1-5/8”
insulaon is included with the corrugated stainless steel
tubing kit .
1-5/8” Insulaon included with
