Warning! Never leave your Legend unattended when vector cutting plastics! Plastic
can be very flammable.
Do not engrave PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride). PVC will destroy the optics and
mechanics of your Legend. Cutting or engraving PVC will void your warranty.
Rubber Stamps
Engraving Rubber Stamps with the Epilog
WINDOWS XP/2000 Driver Version 6.01
The Epilog Driver Version 6.01 includes settings for producing rubber stamps.
Unique stamp attributes are controlled from the driver including, Speed and Power
settings, Shoulders, Widening, and more.
Processing rubber stamp files requires a computer that has adequate processing power
and memory capabilities. The faster your computer, and the more memory it has, the
faster your computer will process the stamp file. Individual stamps will be processed
quickly on almost any computer, but if you are producing large numbers of stamps in
a single setup you will want to have a computer that, at a minimum, meets Epilog’s
recommended computer specifications.
Installing the Rubber Stamp Driver
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The stamp driver is included as part of the standard driver
that is found in Section 4 of your Legend manual. If you have an old version of a
Legend driver on your computer, you must remove it, reboot your computer and then
install this new driver. All of your old Configurations setting will be lost when
you install this new driver. Please make copies of your old Configuration
settings if you need to save them.
Creating Your Layout for Stamps
A stamp job consists of six basic features: The first three features are created when
setting up your artwork. The next two, Shoulders and Widening, are settings found in
the print driver and are specific to rubber stamps. The last setting only needs to be
changed from its default setting of 50 if you need to make minor adjustments to
