5.2.2.2 Bi-D Adjustment from the Control Panel
1. Turn the printer on while pressing the
PAUSE
button to put the printer
into Bi-d adjustment mode.
2. The printer print out a guide sheet, containing 25 patterns in Super
Draft mode.
3. Look for the pattern most closely aligned on the sheet.

4. Press the LF / FF or Load / Eject button until the Pitch lights match
those for the best-aligned pattern on the guide sheet.
5. Press the FONT button to save your selection. The printer then prints
25 patterns in the Draft mode on the additional pages.
6. Return to step 3 of this procedure to adjust the Bi-d adjustment in the
Draft mode and NLQ mode.
7. When you have performed the NLQ mode Bi-D adjustment, turn the
printer off to finish the adjustment and save the value into the EEPROM
on the main board.
