Cleaning Inside the Printer

Turn off the printer, check that the screen display
has turned off, and then unplug the printer.

Unplug the power plug, and then wait for
approximately one minute.
C
Open the printer cover, and then use a soft cloth
to wipe off any dirt and dust.
Carefully wipe the light blue areas (a) shown in
the following illustration.

Important:
❏ When cleaning, do not touch the rollers
or ink pads shown in gray (b) in the
following illustration. Otherwise the
prints could be soiled.
❏ If the back of the paper is soiled, check
that the areas shown in light blue (a) are
not soiled.
