Connect the APC 300 HF input with the monopolar HF output for footswitches
(monopolar active receptacle for footswitch).
Connect the APC 300 output for actuation signals with the monopolar
footswitch receptacle.
The connection and actuation of the instruments largely corresponds to the
APC 300 - ICC 300 connection and actuation configurations. You will find
these in chapter 8.
Read the operating instructions of the electrosurgical unit and the APC 300.
After connecting up the instruments it is imperative (!) that you are clear
about which instrument is actuated with which button and which footswitch.
If in doubt ask an ERBE employee to explain the connection and actuation
configurations.
When you use ERBE instruments and accessories, ERBE Elektromedizin
accepts liability. Instruments and accessory parts not manufactured by ERBE
must be approved by an authorized testing agency.
A series of electrosurgical units of other manufacturers can be used in
combination with the APC 300. Please ask your ERBE branch which these
are. You will find the address at the back of this manual.
