If the following argon-deficiency situations arise the APC 300 emits an audible
signal. In addition, a warning in plain language appears in the information
line:
Both cylinders are empty.
One cylinder is empty, the other nearly empty.
Both cylinders are nearly empty.
Only use argon
The APC 300 may only be operated with argon. It cannot differentiate between
gases. A cylinder containing a dangerous gas could be connected to the cylinder
connection of the unit. Check each cylinder to ensure that it really does contain
argon. Identification must not be damaged or missing.
In the information line, warnings and error messages in plain language appear.
The letter I for information, and a number, e.g. 262, precede the text. Refer to
the error list to see what are the possible causes of the error and what action
should be taken.
When you actuate the APC 300, a COAG or CUT signal is emitted. The fill
level in the cylinder depicts the approximate flow. If the cylinder is completely
filled, the APC 300 flow is as specified by the setting. If the cylinder is only
partially filled, delivery is too low. This condition is also indicated by an
error message.
