Glossary
Application programs
Programs in which the user can store, at a series of addresses, COAG flow,
CUT flow settings and in addition, a preferred cylinder number, for instance.
Argon plasma
Plasma state of argon. A plasma is a gaseous mixture of electrically charged
ions, electrons, and, if present, electrically neutral atoms or molecules.
Argon plasma coagulation
Coagulation method in which HF-current is conducted to tissue via ionized
argon (argon plasma).
COAG flow, CUT flow defaults
Values programmed by ERBE at the Instrument numbers.
COAG flow, CUT flow
Amount of argon, in units of l/min, which is to flow from the applicator when
CUT or COAG is actuated.
COAG flow, CUT flow maximum parameters
Maximum flow which the user can set for a particular instrument.

Connection cables for transmitting the actuation signals from the APC 300 to
the ICC generator.
