Factory unit settings
Programs and program-
parameters
The programs were programmed at the factory. They can be used for certain instru-
ments or instrument combinations without having to make any changes to the pro-
gram parameters.
Program 1: "Bipolar with footswitch"
For using a bipolar instrument with footswitch activation. Example: Bipolar forceps.
A monopolar instrument with fingerswitch activation can also be used. Example:
Handpiece with monopolar electrode.
Program 2: "Monopolar with fingerswitch"
For using a monopolar instrument with fingerswitch activation. Example: Handpiece
with monopolar electrode.
A bipolar instrument with footswitch activation can also be used. Example: Bipolar for-
ceps.
Program 3: "Bipolar with AUTO START"
Available for VIO 100 C only.
For using a bipolar instrument with AUTO START activation. Example: Bipolar forceps.
A monopolar instrument with footswitch activation can also be used. Example: Hand-
piece or LAP instrument.
Program 4: "Monopolar with footswitch"
Available for VIO 100 C only.
For using a monopolar instrument with footswitch activation. Example: Handpiece or
LAP instrument.
A bipolar instrument with AUTO START activation can also be used. Example: Bipolar
forceps.
Note: The applications described only apply as long as the factory settings for "Socket
in focus at program start", "Footswitch assignment" or "AUTO
START" have not be
changed and thus correspond to the following table.
