Checking the unit and accessories
Damaged unit, damaged accessories, modified unit, and modified
accessories
Risk of electric shock to the patient and medical personnel!
Risk of injury to patient and medical personnel!
Risk of burns to the patient and medical personnel!
Risk of material damage.
Check the unit and accessories for damage before each use (e.g.
footswitch, instrument cables and cart).
You must not use a damaged unit or damaged accessories. Re-
place defective accessories.
If the unit or cart is damaged, please contact our customer ser-
vice.
Blown power fuses may only be replaced by a competent techni-
cian.
For your safety and that of the patient: Never attempt to perform
repairs or make modifications yourself. Any modification will in-
validate liability on the part of Erbe Elektromedizin GmbH.
Connect footswitch
Note: When connecting the footswitch, make sure that you insert the 4 pins on the
plug of the connecting cable with the correct alignment into the corresponding con
-
tacts of the footswitch socket.
Connect the one pedal or two pedal footswitch VIO C on the back of the unit to the
footswitch socket.
