Rectify error
1. If the indicator light is red when a single surface neutral electrode is connected,
check the first two of the sources of error above and remedy the error if neces-
sary.
If the indicator light is red when a dual surface neutral electrode is connected,
check all of the sources of error above and remedy the error if necessary.
2. In case of doubt, remove the neutral electrode and check the condition of the skin
(skin must be shaven and dry).
3. Dispose of the neutral electrode you removed and apply a new neutral electrode
to the patient.
Monitor neutral electrode during
use
If one of the errors above occurs again during use, the neutral electrode indicator light
switches from green to red. If you attempt to activate the monopolar socket when the
indicator light is red, a tone sounds and the error number "2" is displayed.
Eliminate any error if necessary.
