Damaged unit, damaged accessories, modified unit, and modified
accessories
Risk of electric shock to the patient and medical personnel!

Risk of material damage.
Check the unit and accessories for damage before each use (e.g.
footswitch, instrument cables and cart).
You must not use a damaged unit or damaged accessories. Re-
place defective accessories.
If the unit or cart is damaged, please contact our customer ser-
vice.
Blown power fuses may only be replaced by a competent techni-
cian.
For your safety and that of the patient: Never attempt to perform
repairs or make modifications yourself. Any modification will in-
validate liability on the part of Erbe Elektromedizin GmbH.
Access to the power cord
Note: Install the unit such that the power cord could be easily disconnected from the
power source.
Installing the unit on a SystemCarrier compact
The installation is described in the assembly instructions for the SystemCarrier com-
pact/compact plus.
Set up and install unit

1. Connect as required the grounding terminal pin (1) through a grounding cable
with the grounding system of the operating room.
2. Make a power connection to a power socket through the power connector (3).
